How to Know you are in a Style Rut
There are times when you figure that you have nothing to wear. Here is how you know that you have hit a style rut and how you are able to get out of them. Post sponsored by Apparel Software
The Jean Go To
Jeans are a classic for everyday wear, but you should have other casual go tos.
Try swapping out your jeans for leather pants, cargo or a wool mini. You should wear these just like you would wear denim and pair them with an oversized sweater, a button down, a sweatshirt and an oxford shoe or a low heel boot.
Wearing Black All the Time
Always wearing black is a hard habit to break.
You should slowly start going into colour by starting small with like a coloured accessory, a coloured bag or a coloured shoe. If you want to be a little more daring then why not try a printed silk shirt or even a printed pant.
At work you may always notice that you end up wearing the same thing like a shift dress, a pantsuit or a button down tucked into a pencil skirt.
When you get dressed for the office why not pull out a fancy shirt and wear it like a basic piece. A piece that has a little sparkle, a print or a risky neckline will liven up your work wear basics.
